Geochron - the day/night worldclock
Brought to your desktop in technicolour. See it like it is. Global realtime day night display. I run the good old fashioned CIA sponsored version at home.
We are seeing a prime example of the ancient art of lying based on maps at the moment. It may even trigger WW3 if the pom’s (UK) and the Iranians don’t back down a bit. Read all about the fake maps and the real situation from British ex-diplomat Craig Murray. Basically the sea boundaries between Iran and Iraq have never been agreed / settled and there is no such thing as international rules that you can use to determine where they would be. Not least because of millions of sandbars and other special circumstances. It really comes down to the two sides (Iraq and Iran) to sit down and agree on the line. It is ludicrous for the Brits to then suddenly produce their own line down through the gulf and claim moral superiority based on that. Lets face it Denmark and Britain even has open disputes about territorial waters around a useless bit of rock (see pick below) which during tides pop up in the north sea. No wonder that they have never agreed in an area that is host to the worlds main oil reserves.
Rockall – no flag on top?
Lets look at another conflict in the same general area where we never see anyone holding up a map. Looking at the actual map of the area may explain why this keeps being the root source of world tension not to mention the so called “War on Terror”. I know they all deny it has anything to do with it, but you would have to be solitary confined in Gitmo to not see it? After a few months there you would most likely agree with anything just like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed shoppinglist of 20th century terrorist attacks.
