Geochron - the day/night worldclock
Brought to your desktop in technicolour. See it like it is. Global realtime day night display. I run the good old fashioned CIA sponsored version at home.

Before fitting the first cornice I decided to save about $15 and do my own mitre box so we could get clean mean compound mitre cuts of our cornices. I thought how hard can it be. Well this was my first go. I think I could do it considerably better in the second go, but I never got around to try again. We ended up using pre-cast plastic mitre boxes that we had standing around anyway. However the compound mitres out of this beauty was much better than those from the lower sided general purpose plastic mitre boxes (as long as you pick the right matching cuts…). Anyway there is always a certain beauty to most functional objects.
