Having English as a second language and reading as much as I do online, I reasonably often come across words that I have no more than a faint appreciation of. I recently installed WordWeb based on a raving review on a blog I came across, and I now have it on all my computers. It is a tiny little free thing that sits in your task bar and whenever you hold CTRL+rightclick a word anywhere in pretty much any application it brings up a dictionary / thesaurus lookup of that particular word. Very hand little thing.
