We went to the country races in Alexandra on the weekend. It was pretty hot as in close to 40 degrees and the field was a bit sloppy with only 3 horses in each race, but it was a fun day never the less and I managed to pick one of the winners although I didn't gamble. I still maintain that there are better ways of wasting money.
